Dona Isabel Juliana White

White wine

Alfrocheiro, Alicante Bouchet, Tannat, Syrah

Winemaking:

The vinification of the three grape varieties is carried out separately and the blend is done afterwards. Grapes are all handpicked and the whole bunches pressing is done in a pneumatic press. After settling 48 hours, juice ferments at 18 ºC in 500L French Oak Barrels. Once the fermentation is finished, the wine ages for 10 months in the barrels with weekly battonage during 2 months.

Tasting notes:

With a yellow pale colour and a complex aroma of white fruits, this wine has flavours of pear associated with elegant vanilla flavour arising from the oak. In the mouth it is full, fresh and well balanced. It should be drunk at 12ºC with grilled meats, fish, sea food or fatty cheeses.
